• Not bad chippy. Looking a bit tired. Friendly staff. Asian female sat on the stairs, could see just about everything. Not good. Quality of food, not so good. Looks and taste not fresh, looks like it's frozen food.

• This Fish and Chips shop is absolutely impeccable. The staff is lovely, some of the best people I have ever come across. The location is the best thing about it because it's just down the road from where I live and my family who live farther away can park in the vets or on the road at the side. You can't miss it. The other shops haven't got anything on The A1 Fish Bar.

• This fish bar is my favourite by far! Lovely food, especially the sausage and curry sauce which is my regular! The staff are friendly and the shop is clean. It has good transport links, the bus stop is right outside. The only thing to improve would be to get some parking outside, although I walk so parking is not needed for me. Highly recommended :)

• Watch you order being dished up as they're so chatty with other customers they miss packing some food. Food was very good and the shop was very clean and tidy.

• I love the food from A1 Fish bar and the service is always friendly. The shop has got five stars and is very clean.

• fish fried to frizzle . chips only just warm.and were going hard and inedible.only went once.maybe wrong time of day,but thats no excuse.they may have saved money by selling it to me but they have lost a potential long term customer who has just moved to the area.
