• What a horrible experience I had with this company and when things go wrong, you unfortunately find out who you are really dealing with! On the day of my install they ‘stitch drilled’ a hole in my wall when they said they use a “coring machine”, creating a brutal hole on the exterior of my property—which they left as is—I had to ask them to cover it which they did. They told me that my flue pipe would clear the eves of my roof “no problem” (my explicit request). But on the day they said this was not possible as they said “the next bit of pipe would be too long” (this was not true). They ended up putting on a horrid, kinked adapter to clear the eves. I asked if this could go lower down, they said “it can't” (the manufacturer said it could have). They, shockingly, did not know the correct installation guidelines of their flue pipe supports which would have invalidated my warranty, if unresolved, so I had to correct them with the manufacturer's advice. I had to wrangle with them over countless emails to come and correct their work, taking up so much of time and energy. After they corrected that, they had to come back 3 additional times, as they left me with dented bits of pipe from the corrections. EVENTUALLY they got that sorted. CORRECTIONS STILL OUTSTANDING: They installed my hearth stone then began working over before it had dried, leaving slight movement in the stone. They are currently, refusing to come back to resolve this. I paid so much money to have this job done and it was carried out so unprofessionally - I really wish I went elsewhere. My advice if you are commissioning here: Get EVERYTHING in writing and watch them like a hawk on the day!
