• In April 2010 I bought what I thought was a good 4x4 vehicle with a stated milage of 82000 miles. A bit high but it was a diesel. When my son tried to part exchange the vehicle recently the DVLA raised a query over the current milage. In March 2010 the car had a milage of 182000 miles yet when I bought it from Arthur Haslam the next month 100000 miles had mysteriously disappeared. I have tried to contact the garage but strangely they refuse to answer my emails. I would have thought that if they had nothing to do with this fraud they would be jumping through hoops to say so. Trading standards have been informed
