• The Ash Inn had a change of ownership and direction. Families are welcome, new play area installed, no more yobs or F - words are allowed.

• Went to the bar with wife daughter and her boyfriend. Unfriendly atmosphere with a raucus group who swore all evening. Left at 10pm and Complained to Landlord who said I should have let him know I did'nt like loud drunks using the "F" word all evening. Then he would have stopped it.He did not agree that it was the job of staff to automatically control the atmosphere/language in a pub. Apparently if no-one is brave enough to complain, it is OK to go to the Ash and get drunk, swear loudly and intimidate others - thats the sort of pub it is. It only needs sawdust on floor and a spitoon to make it complete. Definately not a pub for families or those offended by the F word in every sentence. Not a welcome or safe environment.
