• Let me start by saying the food itself is good - may be a bit pricey. There are Thai restaurants close by with better food for a reasonable price (Thai Boran, Derby for e.g.). It was around 6 of us - all professionals from a major engineering company in Derby). This was our first visit and we had one of the worst experiences ever! We had booked a table for 7 and 2 minutes into settling down on our table, one of our friends called to say she couldn't make it. Waiter 2 was standing next to us and he went "But you said 7" with a very grumpy face and a harsh tone. Waiter 1 was standing next to him and giving us an angry stare. Oh my God, we were all fuming, but with an attempt not to ruin our dinner, I asked as politely as I could, "Is that a problem?? They went "We'll move tables around". So one of our 4-seater table was replaced by a 2-seater one, all the time with a stare you would give a prisoner when he walks past you in an orderly line. Finally, when the food arrived, they served "116" instead of "115". What would you expect from a restaurant, when this happens, where you spend £20-£25 per meal? Something along the lines of "Oh sorry about the mix up, let me change that for you" We might have even said "tell you what, it's ok, we'll have this dish instead". But no, waiter 2 went "But YOU ordered 116", with waiter 1 giving us his now trademark angry stare, this time even angrier! Oh my goodness! All we wanted to do was get up, pay and leave! But again, with an attempt not to make a scene out of the situation, we said "Its ok, we will have this dish instead!" We were all feeling a bit awkward and had/have no idea what we did wrong! We couldn't have done anything wrong; both waiters were being a bit odd from the time we entered. And after we paid the bill, when I wanted to speak to the manager, he was conveniently on holiday until 1 Nov! And they have no website either for me to complain. Well annoyed. NEVER GOING TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE AGAIN!
