• Friday 14th August 2020. I walked out without getting my hair cut as I was absolutely astonished at the lack of implementation of coronavirus precautions. My wife had called in previously and been told that names and contact details were required, none was asked for, facemasks had to be worn by customers, masks and visors by staff, but the young man waiting before me was not wearing a mask and no visors were to be seen. There was a written request to hand sanitise on entry with which I complied, but only after being seated for some time as there was no verbal request, or indeed communication, from staff. I have been going to the Barber King for my haircuts for 7 or 8 years but, needless to say, I shall not be returning.
