• Second time me and my friends have eaten here and it has always been first class. Three of us had lunch on Wednesday 2nd Dec and it was most enjoyable, we sat by a lovely log fire and was served by a friendly young lady , was excellent and the service was great and the beer was top class, what more can I say, all at a reasonable price as well.

• We ate here for the first time recently, on the advice of good friends who joined us. The experience ideally suited the good time we always have together, the food was beautiful! Everything from starter to pudding was made on the premises, was locally sourced and was gorgeous! Best meal we have had out in a long time and a cute, quaint, very friendly venue!

• We've eaten here regularly for years and moved to the village partly because of the pub. Great food and always good service. Do a fine sunday roast.

• We visited yesterday for sunday lunch for a friends birthday - 12 of us. When we advised the staff that the beef was ifficult to eat they said that no one else had complained and that there was nothing they could do about it. They then proceeded totalk about us behind the bar and treat us badly. Half the solution to a complaint is the courtesy to which it is responded to.
