• We had heard this Inn had been taken over by new owners. We were very impressed by the friendly staff, great ambience and delicious meal which we thought was not too highly priced. We would highly recommend this place as it's the best we've tasted for quite a while.

• Took 6 friends new to Yorkshire and we all came away totally satisfied with the quality and cost of a very extensive menu. Significantly,we needed a gluton free dish. Michael (owner and chef) said he would prepare any meal from the full menu in a gluton free way - a first in our experience! Exceptional village pub.
