• spent four days in Skipsea we ate at the Board inn three times the service and food were excellent and most important value for money will go in next time we are down there!

• Having eat at the Board Inn on Sunday 13th which 4 of us enjoyed and the staff were friendly, we decided to eat there again on Monday 14th. The waitress (who was not the same person we saw on the Sunday) was rude. When we asked to see the pudding menu she she said I knew you would want that, I should have gone home an hour ago! She came back and read the desert menue off a sticky note. We said we would leave the desert so she could get off home. This was just after 8pm!. She slammed the bill down and walked off. As the four of us were on holiday and this pub was close to where were staying they lost a lot of business that we. I would definatly not reccommend this place.

• Went here on holiday to celibrate birthday. on menu boneless pork in BBQ. chose this as do not liek to pick at bones, couldnt see bones when put in front of me as sauce covered, when advised waitress she said would tell the chef, NOTHING no appology given. reading the only 2 reviews here nothing changed from 2013. We visit area around twice a year although will not be visiting this pub again.

• 5th oct we had a 3 course meal all good but dessert small for the price,becks vier,thatchers cider and tasty guest beers plus phallic water jug on ceiling!!!! will try sunday lunch next

• had a steak sat 5 th it was all gristle I complained to waitress who agreed and said ill tell chef and see what we can do she never came back after 15 mins another waitress came with bill no free coffee no apology so we left as we got to car 4 people were just parking and asked us if pub was serving meals I told them our experience they said thanks got in their car and went somewhere else I felt better alan
