• 1/10/2013 Edit » I was interested in buying a used Mini 2011 yesterday and p/x my car. Because the dealer is based 85 miles away from where I live I sent the pictures of my car and exchanged lots of calls with Derek H The sales person, I believe. Before travelling I asked all the questions about the Mini including is the car HPI clear. The seller confirmed everything and said that is HPI absolutely clear and they are very reputable company. I wanted to px my BMW for 8.7k to 9k and pay the balance by debit card and drive back the Mini home that day. After I arrived the Mini INSTEAD OF 11k MILAGE advertised had 12.3k mileage on and 9k OUTSTANDING FINANCE!!! What shown in red on HPI!!! The manager tried to convince me that the finance is a stocking finance with Peugeot and with a click of a button it will be paid after I pay. But after asking him to enter into Google search the finance company details he could not find a link to show me that this is actually Peugeot finance. I called the finance company and there was no reception or anything just a rude man answered and told me after me giving reg plate that this is their car. I walked away so angry driving home and I wanted to leave at that, but today I had an unpleasant pho call from Derek H Who instead of apologising put the phone down with anger after I said how disappointed I was. Very unpleasant experience ! Stay clear
