• A absolute joke of a pub, it's a mess, the food is poor, and further more the fruit machine policy is a joke. I put over £100 in the fruit machine after waiting 45 mins for food. After this I won back £210 but the machine only paid out £8. I've been trying hard for 2 months solid to get my money I rightfully won and returned to the pub today to be told by the duty manager (Andrew) I manipulated the fruit machine in some way so I won't be paid out. So I'm left nearly £100 down without a leg to stand on having been massively criticised in front of a bar full of customers. Now I'm left massively embarrassed because of a smith and jones flea pit so thanks smith and jones!!!!

• The place is a flea pit food all over the floor all the booth seating is filthy and ripped doesnt make you feel like eating it is in dire need of a refurb

• this is the worst place for food and service in Accrington we waited over 35 mins for the food to be delivered when it arrived it was only warm and half of the order was missing we told the bar staff who said it was on its way 45 mins later i had finished my luke warm meal and the rest stilled hadnt arrived my wife couldnt eat hers due to it being cold not once did the staff come over to ask if the meal was ok we left after a hour with the dirty plates still on the table will not eat there again
