• 3 different family members all took their cars for a service with Carfinders direct on Abbey Lane Leicester on separate occasions within a 4 week period. All 3 cars were diagnosed with the same problems i.e. CV boot split or bearings needed greasing and steering problems. One of the cars had an MOT the week prior to the service and these problems were not picked up. Carfinders also tried to state that 2 of the 3 cars needed fully synthetic oil when actually they needed semi and there was an extra charge for this by which time was too late as they claimed that they'd already put this in when come to pay for the work. Since then (apprx 2 months later) I have checked my cars oil and there's a creamy residue and I'm not convinced that fully synthetic oil was actually put in in the first place. I have no evidence of the above however this company seem like they are out to rip people off and for the same problems to have been identified on each of our 3 cars, I not convinced of the honesty of this company. In short don't think that you're getting a bargain through voucher codes or one of the other voucher sites as I can guarantee they'll be hidden charges.I shall not go back

• DO NOT USE!!!! I used a voucher deal to get my car serviced at carfinders direct Leicester. They asked when the Mot was and they would be happy to do it, but I declined (good thing). Whilst carry out the service they informed me I needed new front brakes, rear pads and suspension linkages. Quoted me a discounted price of £140. I got suspicious and declined and paid for the service. The next day I got it mot at a indepentant mot centre and it sailed through no advisories. Nothing wrong with brakes etc... This will be the last time I use garages who offer cheap services as they are looking for work. You have been warned!!!!!
