• I have visited this watering hole d several times now and I ammazed at the quality of the food. The prices are very reasonable,vegetables fresh,proper potatoes and pies to die for.Good service.Always busy. Recommended.

• The new Landlord Andy and Linda who have been in charge for just under a year have transformed the pub. It has had over £300,000 spent on renovations and alterations in the bar / dining area. The food is the best in Pevensey bay by a long way. Very busy every day of the week during food times which are 12-2 an 6-8 except on Sunday 12-2.30 and no food Sunday or Monday nights.

• On our first visit to The Castle Inn we had a meal in there. When it arrived there was no veg, which we ordered.The landlady was very abrupt and didn't apologise for the error and said they'd run out of veg. We said we should have been informed. The landlord who took the order was also abrupt and didn't apologise and just kept saying they were busy. It was obvious there was a lack of communication from the bar to the kitchen,and as we left the landlord said " Don't come back if we don't meet your requirements!! " So-we would never recommend their pub or bad attitude.
