• I've had a Motor Trading Insurance with Connect Insurance Brokers, which was a full comprehensive insurance. After handing over the bank details and payments in advance (since that was cheaper over the time), it was not possible to get a service from them. During the period of two months calls have not been replied and subsequent callbacks from my side have been ignored. I was not able to talk directly to a motor trading technician, because they were all busy or they were not picking up the phone. They were not able to provide a Insurance Certificate. Their Motor Trade Services, which they provide to register cars, feels outdated and are not costumer orientated. There is no way to control the stock via Internet Browser. Registering a car via phone text message is not giving the customer any feedback if the registering was not accepted! I was calling the company to register a car, but I didn't get any feedback if the car is on the insurance. Generally the leaflets which I received from Connect Insurance feel like a company promoting services which are stuck in the 80s. Which was supported by the fact that the contact emails online are not up to date as well, and email enquires have not been replied. Unfortunately I was getting a quote from them on the phone, where the disabilities from the company where not obvious. I can only advice people not to get a quote or an insurance from Connect Insurance Brokers. I've tried to keep the insurance with them, but it was impossible due to the bad customer service.
