• I stayed here for 2 nights (Nov 2011) and I thought it was good enough to warrant staying here again at some point. The food was good and reasonably priced, the chef was definately new as I havent seen him here before so presume there is new owners, anyway im not complaining the grub was good. The drinks are okay at normal pub prices. The bargirl was friendly enough and was more than happy to provide as expected a good enough service.

• Absolutely terrible food and service. I politely complained about one part of the food and I was met with an argument from a so called customer service person (waitress), who demanded that it was fresh from the bag and that she would eat it.1) Whatever you think of a complaint, it is MY complaint, and should not be argued with.2) The food was disgusting and to serve that particular bit up is dreadful. What happened to quality control?3) To then argue that it was fresh is unbelievable.AVOID!And rather expensive for really below standard pub grub and drink
