• We dined there tonight for our 42nd wedding anniversary. Thought it might be great Italian food but very disappointing indeed.The Pene Pasta was awful and the "Parma Ham" was disgusting. I dread to think where it came from. We both had different versions of this pasta and would not repeat the experience.The onion soup was thick with cornflour... hardly haute cuisine in any country. Such a let-down.The front of house was welcoming and the wine acceptable so we survived but would not go back.

• Wdined at the crown inn on a groupon voucher food was of poor choice new potatos served with meal was cut up left over old potatos when pointed out to owner / chef he just shruged his shoulders choice of Italian food was poor l would nnot recommend dining here if you wAnt fresh food and a good service
