• So I found the exact car I wanted (BMW 320d) at what seemed to be the best price around, so naturally being a bit skeptical, I hit the review sites and there seemed to be a mixed bag, some good, some bad and one which was obviously from one of DCC's competitors ;) I decided to go anyway as it was the exact car I wanted. Having phoned ahead I met James who I had made my appointment with, he sat me down, offered me a tea and talked me through how they operate(price/reconditioning/ warranty etc) he then took me for a nice long drive in the car. When we got back he talked me through the cars paperwork and history etc and I was happy so we went ahead, although I asked for discount I didn’t get any but I suppose it was already the best priced one I could find! Then we talked about by bank loan and he managed to beat it (to my surprise) and saved me about a fiver a month. I left a deposit and came back 3 days later to collect, all the stuff we had agreed on had been done and a few signatures later and I was in my shiny new car. All in all very easy, relaxed and a very good deal as I also got free servicing with my Lifetime warranty! Working in an industry that relies heavily on reviews I’m all too aware it’s easier to find bad ones so I am only to happy take the time to write a good one when I have had a good experience, so on that note well done and thank you DCC.

• Had a very good experience,have had bad experiences with dealers before so was very apprehensive. very nice car, had a hassel free experience and would recommend.

• The purchase of my 08 Passat Estate from The Diesel Car Company has been the worst purchasing experience I have ever had. The vehicle had minor issues that needed fixing but after nearly a month and a half of emails, phone calls and visits to DCC my car is still not fixed properly. Their after sales customer service is rubbish, they don't return my calls; they don't reply to my emails, they do fob me off with excuses and lies. They didn't pay off my finance agreement on my PX and only did so once Santander contacted them and asked where their payment was. They are polite, they are friendly but they are so target based they have forgotten how to treat a customer. If they had dealt with the issues quickly and kept me informed I wouldn’t be writing this review. At present I’m still waiting to find out when my interior lights will be fixed, an issue they caused while fixing a luggage compartment lamp in the headlining. I complained on the 28/03/13 and I am still waiting to hear when it will be fixed, apparently they are too busy to deal with my complaint!!! I had paintwork done on the car which, now settled, has become mottled and the repair has reacted with the top coat, it will need painting again. I regret the day I walked onto their premises and so will you.
