• Well I won't be coming back here Staff haven't a clue what they are serving and the lady manager/ carvery server has no manors or patietence and is the rudest person I have ever come across that works with customers on a daily basis, what a grim grotty unprofessional pub, the god sucked too.

• My family and I, 7 adults and 3 children (10 months, 21 months and 3yrs) went for the Sunday Carvery today and I must say the manager/Carvery chef could do with going on a course for customer service, she came across quite rude and had no patience. We all had starters which cost an extra £1.45, I had the goats cheese in filo pastry and my partner had the prawn cocktail, my starter was nice but there wasn't enough of it, as for my partners prawn cocktail well I counted 8 tiny prawns and both our salads weren't worth being on our plates.The Carvery food was ok though some of the veg was very overcooked and the pork and beef wasn't the best. As for the price, you pay for what you get,£9.95 for starter and Carvery. It was very hot in that room also so I suggest to wear light clothing. On asking the waitress about opening a window she never came back to do it, my brother in law took it upon himself to pull back the net curtain to which I wish he never, from what the window sills looked like I dred to see what the kitchen looks like. Very disappointed will not be eating there again.

• Not a posh or pretentious pub, but if you go down on a Sunday for the carvery, you will find some of the best grub about. Massive portions of meat, constantly replaced fresh veg and good gravy. Puds are nice and not over priced either, which is a bonus!! We like it as a place for a Sunday family meal when kids are back from Uni, and know that Sue has a good veggie menu available too when required. The staff are usually pretty good and helpful, checking for anything wanted. The beer is not always the best, but I am happy to have a glass or two of house red :)

• I love the Duck at Allscott! Mrs Duck! (don't know her name sorry) is a great chef and the menus are varied tasty and very reasonable. Washed down with my favourite McGuigans Chardonnay!! Yum Yum!
