• Very disappointing ... service slow. Food average. Does not live up to all..... the advertising ... not a city centre restaurant so why are they trying to. Be ?????

• first visit to The duke and certainly won`t be our last. Couldn`t fault anything. Food was brilliant, good friendly atmosphere, service was perfect and they accommodate dogs, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Looking forward to going again

• NOT GOOD! it seemed a race to get us in and out.focus on the food was quantity rather than quality.Will not be going back,EVER.

• Have just eaten at this very friendly, vibrant pub. Our food was delicious!! I had the grilled salmon which was cooked to perfection and my partner had the pork and black pudding. An excellent, tasty meal. we will definitely be returning there very soon!

• 9 of us booked for mothers day - food was lovely but yet the landlord couldn't wait to move you on - no coffees offered after dessert and bill put on the table without asking for it- shame !!!!

• My husband and I stumbled upon this quaint pub a two weeks ago. The atmosphere was of a tradition English pub;warm and friendly. We were informed a new chef had just been employed. The meal was beautifully presented, tasted very very good it could easily be of al-la carte standard. We were very impressed. I will recommend this pub to everyone who loves good food!!!!!
