• We are seriously contesting this review. This version of events is grossly distorted. As this client has said, we kept her informed throughout the whole process and she gave approval to every single feature of her order. She claims that the picture of the fabric was taken in a shadow but she did not put in her review that her own sister saw the fabric we used and said it was 'absolutely stunning'. For this client to come at the very end of the process when it was time for collection to say that she does not want the dresses anymore was terribly unfair after all our hard work and against our terms and conditions of creating bespoke bridesmaids dresses for her. We decided not to progress with any of her orders any longer and refund her for the flower girls dresses and contrary to what she has said, the flower girls dresses had been started but we had to protect ourselves from being put through what she had unfairly put us through the first time.

• I had my bridesmaid dresses made by Estilo Moda and was very disappointed with the end result. I saw a dress I LOVED in Mango but they had all sold out. My friend, who was having her bridesmaid dresses made by Estilo Moda at the time, and for whom I was also a bridesmaid, introduced me to Omo who said she would be able to make the dresses for me. One of the first things Omo said to me was that if there was anything I was not happy with on completion of the dresses, she would be happy to give me a full refund, as she just wants her customers to be happy. Throughout the process Omo was very good at keeping in touch and keeping me informed about the progress of the dresses. She could not find the correct colour for the dresses so sent me a photo of a 'slightly lighter' shade. I said this was fine as the colour did look similar in the photo. However, when it came to picking up the dresses I was so shocked at how they looked. The style was quite different to the original dress and the colour was way lighter. In retrospect I should have seen the photo was taken in a shadow; it was not a true representation of the colour. I hate confrontation and I am not one to complain often, so I paid for 3 of the 5 dresses I had ordered (the young bridesmaid dresses were yet to be completed) and went to my car and cried. When I called Omo and told her I was unhappy she said she needed time to think about what to do. In the end she refused to refund any of my money for those 3 dresses (£540) and said she wouldn't make the other 2 dresses (which it turned out hadn't even been started!). I was left in the lurch a few weeks before the wedding. Luckily, I found 3 dresses in a sale at Monsoon. I wish I'd done this from the start. I would definitely think twice before having anything tailor made again. You just don't know what the final outcome will be and often you can find something just as lovely off the peg for less money and less stress.
