• Similar experience to Gary but closing time was 7 and I went in at 6.30 ish. Found the attitude of staff very rude. 5 in shop when I went in - two still waiting to place orders. First of these wanted two fish and there was only one. Surly man in the back refused to cook any more! That's no way to run a service industry business. When I complained server said it wasn't as if I was a regular as she had never seen me before - is this relevant? She tried to tell me that they'd run out of fish but surly cook in the back clearly said he would not cook any! These people need to understand that part of their job is to accommodate the customers' requirements. Let's hope they don't take on any apprentices!! 😡

• Dont bother. Went in at 7.20. 3 staff in no customers.2 walked away. I asked for a fish. When the friar was asked if he would fry one he said no. Woman said they were closing soon. Sign said 8pm Told to forget it. Will not be back. Rude staff

• Usually The Best Chippy however Tonight's tea time Chips were not up to standard..dry and warm and some hard..as of they'd been warmed up as was the Meat&Potato pie... :(
