  • 4 star reviewJust had evening meal there. Turned up without a reservation - drinks brought to table, all very pleasant, then taken to table. Good menu, food was excellent and service was also attentive. Food to longer to arrive than we wanted but it was Sally good when it arrived and the whole night was really good. Will be going back.

  • 5 star reviewJust been for my sister in laws 50 birthday meal, absolutely superb, we did it on a groupon but will most certainly be going back for another visit. Food was of a very high standard, and somevofvthe chefs own creation were brilliant. Thank you all look forward to returning.

  • 1 star reviewPopped in on the off chance mid week in an attempt to get dinner, but failed miserably. The price of the drinks was enough to put us off but the menu was lacking in choice too. From the outside the pub looks really nice - like a proper country pub. But inside the place needs a good wash.

  • 1 star reviewDreadfull place - nice building but staff rude and didn't seem to care. We went in for lunch without a booking but despite the place being empty, it took 40 mins for our meals to come - and for them to be served cold. Don't waste your time by going. Much better places in Deeping to go to than the pit that is the Golden Pheasant.

  • 5 star reviewCalled in with no booking at lunchtime on st Patrick's day. Place was really busy and full. We were served at the bar very quickly and taken to a table within minutes by very polite friendly attentive efficient staff. Roast lunch was perfect , good size portion fresh tasty veg. Irish music playing - good jolly environment

  • 1 star reviewCalled in for lunch, was met by surly looks and offered only sarcasm when I asked if I could look at a menu. We left immediately, please don`t waste your time or money coming to this strange place.
