• Beggars can't be choosers! Ended up HAVING to GO there again! The staff are mentally retarded , I see that someone else complained and the staff instead of saying sorry or they were upset they'd got the wrong end of the stick, actually treated them on this website how they just treated me ..again ., the only thing I can say as a pluss for them is they treat the animals birds much better than they treat human beings.

• Very very very rude , I bought a pair of hecks grass finches, they told me they only let me buy them because business was really slow that day , they also had a go at me for asking if they sold or could get a pair of Gouldian finches, they said I was disgusting for wanting them because they are beautiful. One star in the ratings is too much.

• Well I went to the shop today to purchase a new bird cage, and I had special requirements. Both ladies in the shop helped me, and we're very patient taking time to help. I think if you have a bad attitude towards any assistant when shopping, it's the shopper who needs training. I would recommend anybody who needs help with pet needs to visit this shop.

• Just to comment on the previous post, customer service is of paramount importance to us. A full refund on the goods in question were given with no argument as this is our policy. There was no "nasty verbal abuse". Shop here yourself and you will see why we have been in business 29 years.

• The shop assistant at the till and the Manager here are extremely rude and abusive. When my daughter tried to return a faulty item they, at first, refused to refund her but luckily she knew her rights as a consumer and stood her ground. Begrudgingly they refunded her but she had to endure a tirade of abuse beforehand and was extremely upset by their bullying attitude. When I phoned to complain the Manager refused to apologise!
