• Possibly the worst pub meal we have ever eaten. Chips were undercooked and soggy (how difficult is it to do good chips), peas from a tin and barely warm, egg simply not edible. The only item from both meals we could eat was the scampi. Such a shame - very nice, helpful waitress, two great young girls behind the bar, excellent beer and good wine. Possibly a good pub if the kitchen staff were replaced. Visited in August 2013, but would not return

• Me and my husband went here two weeks ago an we had the 2 4 £8 , an you get what you pay for 2 meals for 8 pound is great value i had scampi my husband had the cottage pie very nice an very filling

• hi very disapointed with meal, me and the wife ad the 2 for £8 menu, we both ad scampi the portions were very small and their was only 4 small scampi on are plates,are 4 year old granson would ave still been hungry after
