• We love going to the Red Lion we have had numerous do's there birthdays,anniversaries the food is always first class,we are looking forward to going again on Friday lunch time for our ladies lunch,can't wait,thank you.

• Great pub with great food at reasonable prices - beers good with plenty of choice. Plenty of atmosphere - always something going on. Sunday Lunch is lovely. Can't understand why Ann gave it 1 star because beer is cold - how do you have yours - hot???

• Love this pub!!!! Great people, great atmosphe, even better beer! No better place in the village of haxby! Staff and customers fab!!!

• Disagree TOTALLY. Red Lion has always got a great atmosphere, great drinks and great food at reasonable prices. Staff and customers always friendly and up for a laugh.

• Staff have total lack of manners courtesy or ability to smile to customers.Dont waste your money. only worth 1 star as beer is cold.
