• I drink in the red lion and have also eaten there I find the bar staff friendly as well as the customers , the beer and food is really good and reasonably priced - a very welcoming pub that deserves to do well. David Mankelow - Sept 2013

• We popped in for early lunch Sunday 18th aug 2013 asked the lady behind bar if they were serving dinner she said yes so we sat down in the empty dining area and waited to be served , and waited no one came so we left very disappointed The lady kept looking over but no one came
