• me and my partner used to frequent the roebuck and found the food good we havent been for 5 years and on passing we decided to pop for a sunday lunch we found a table got drinks and then was informed that the only sunday lunch they had left was beef out of four different roasts at approx 4:30pm half way threw the day so decided to have beef we got our meals and the beef was tender but cold the roast pots were hard in the middle the mash was well seasoned but not very hot and had developed a skin around it the vegetables were over cooked and looked dirty and the gravy was so thick i had to take it out the jug with a fork and then spread it on to my meal we also wasnt asked if we would like sauces ie horseradish and after the tables were cleared no further table service was provided so we paid our bill and left very very dissapointed
