• Laced with an uneasy hostile atmosphere I found the Royal Oak of Uppingham not at all for me. Shouting across the bar, spilt drinks, young girls wearing next to nothing, continuously pushed and bumped into, these are some of the things to be experienced after your bland condescending natured waiting staff have served you. You will hear more bad than good said about the establishment by the locals.

• Wow what a pub,great service great prices like being back in the 80s £2 a pint,good looking staff not boring like the other pubs in upping ham its got everything,we visit as often as possible,fantastic,at last a pub for the young as well as old
