• Very disappointed, won't be going back. I have never written a review about a restaurant/pub before but feel so annoyed by my recent experience that I feel I have to write this review. I booked to go to the Saracens Head for my husband's birthday and we were using a Groupon voucher. On arrival at the pub we struggled to find a table they were so busy and after queueing for 30 minutes to order we were told that they were not accepting any orders from "Groupon" customers even though we had "pre-booked a table" as per the voucher conditions. We then had to tell our six year old son that we couldn't have daddy's birthday meal after all and left the pub in disgust. I have previously eaten at this pub and whilst the food is not wonderful it is what you would expect for 2for£10. However after our recent experience I won't be recommending this pub to anyone.

• I have just dined at the Saracens head using a groupon voucher with my partner and 2 children. I don't usually write reviews especially negatives ones but my meal was almost indelible and I will not be going back! The starters were ok but the mushrooms on toast was an extremely small portion. The children's roast dinners arrived with thr starters less than 10 minutes from ordering and were if the frozen meal variety with the veg still frozen in the middle and the meat over heated and indelible! My main then arrived of rack of ribs and chicken wings swimming in BBQ sauce along with an undercooked baked potato! Needless to say I didn't eat it. I told the waitress's my concerns she mumbled sorry and walked of quickly to the kitchen! Needless to say we will not be going back there again!

• HORRIFIC - Stay away !! Food is inedible, over prices and horrific, and ive eaten in a lot of pubs this experience will really stay with me ! un cooked chicken, very very very poor quality food, one family member vomited in the car on the way home HORRENDOUS !!!
