• Two and a half years ago this restaurant prepared well-cooked and flavourful food. BUT, now it is dreadful. Every dish is full of sugar, yes sugar; either it is added to disguise some of the cheap ingredients or it is present in the sauces that are obviously bought in - all dishes taste synthetic! For example, a dish of chicken - Nadan Kursi Curry (Mild Dish) - consisted of pieces of mass-prepared cooked, processed chicken chunks (with no evidence of marinade), smothered in what seemed like a bottle of sweet mint sauce, as for spinach, cashew nuts, cream?? All other dishes were similarly prepared. DON'T EVER GO HERE, YOU'LL END UP WITH AWFUL STOMACH ACHE AS WE DID!

• This is a really good Indian on Preston Street. As soon as you walk through the door they make you feel special and you know you're in for a good meal. The staff are friendly and well presented and the place has a great vibe to it, especially on the weekends when it gets really busy. It attracts a nice crowd of diners and service is fast. The food is perfectly spiced so you can relish the flavours and the meat is succulent and well cooked. Prices are fair and they do a decent selection of drinks.

• iv noticed on other review pages maybe not this one that the spice lounge reviews are all from the owners sisters and brothers, mind you on paper the owner is a rumena begum (lovely ladie, very pleasent to talk to!) i couldnt fault the food, even though its a crack head plating it up, got him self in a bit of bother he did, with a few of the local dealers, but then theres the service one of the best in town, if you take out the heroin addict zee whos serving it to you, who went to build a house with his dad apparently....................but was really in rehab for the second time, but not fogetting hi love child in faversham, other then that great restaurant!
