• I had heard lots of lovely reviews about this place and as I was returning to see friends, they thought it would be a lovely place for a meal. The waitress was rude, surly and dismissive. When asked if we could sit on a table not in the centre was told err it’s reserved. The restaurant was empty except a few tables. She then walked off without explaining the food that was no longer available. A different waitress approached and asked if we had been told about A menu changed at which point we said no. She then went on to explain about the changes and left us to make up our minds after asking us what we would like to drink. The surly waiters returned with other people on the table next to us looked at us dismissively and ignored us the second waitress and then approached again and took our order The good was nice but not outstanding and the customer service left a lot to be desired. At one point a gentleman taking drink orders from the table next to us was literally inches away from my face with his buttocks- not ideal. We decided not to have dessert or more drinks and left asking for the bill. It took another 10 minutes for this and at no point did anyone ask us if we enjoyed our meals been paid and left vowing to never return.
