• My daughter and I called into Thistle Cottage for coffee and cake - both of which were lovely (there was no hesitation from the staff when I asked if we could have one piece of cake and two plates). The coffee was hot and in a good size cup - cream was available when I asked too. The cake was delicious. We left and had a walk around the market place, in and out of shops for some time - when we were returning to our car we were met by a gentleman from the tea rooms, he had spotted my daughter's mobile phone and had been looking for us! What can I say ..... great coffee, great cake, great service but most of all ..... great honesty!! Thank you so much ...... we will be back :-)

• I was staying at Bosworth Hall for a cheap weekend and although it is a lovely hotel the breakfas was terrible - I sneaked off to have the all-day breakfast at Thistle Cottage 2 days in a row! A really nice treat, the full works - so tasty it must be good for you!

• I had shepherds pie it was really good - made while I waited and it tasted like it used to! More than I could eat really but I still ate it.

• A must for anyone to pop into so welcoming and homely. Food was excellent and such good value for money and the staff where so friendly. Will recommend to everyone.

• Excellent service from very helpful staff - good choice of freshly cooked food - everything is cooked to order - you can have anything you like in your panini! makes a change from choose one from the chilled premade (three days ago)counter - always busy especially on a Friday and the Weekend.
