• Had Christmas dinner at the Turks head this year and have just seen above comment. I saw the person who has made this comment and he was completely unreasonable. The staff at the Turks did an amazing job with everything, lovely meal and great service. Sadly the gentlemen above was very rude all day, and clearly did not want to be there from the start. The staff showed great restraint in not telling the gentlemen to leave as I would have been much stronger with him... All in all he was a compete a**hole who tried to ruin people's day... We loved it, well done Turks head, can't wait to come back.

• Christmas day lunch. Food disgusting and cold. Meat very dry, veg boiled to death. Soup and main course sent back. Cleanliness and decor poor would not go back.

• We have been to the Turkshead for our Christmas dinner today, the staff were very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them , the restaurant was full the food was really lovely, everything cooked just right. I hope this review helps them to get more customers they deserve it well done.

• Very warm welcome with a lovely atmosphere, kids loved playing in the beer garden and the food and service was excellent

• Billiant Family friendly pub with restaurant, beer garden and childrens play area with toys for kids to use. a very warm welcome
