• On Friday March 1 I decided to send my mail using the special delivery facility at your post office, for the princely sum of £5.90. I was informed that it would definitely arrive by midday today Monday March 4. I was informed that I could track my mail, through the post office website,using the barcode number printed on the receipt I was given. Imagine my surprise when attempting to track my mail, I discovered that the barcode number was invalid. This was confirmed by the post office helpline service and they informed me that there was nothing that they could do to assist me. I therefore had no alternative but to ring the company that my mail was addressed to and fortunately my mail had indeed arrived. Although the special delivery service worked, I am certainly unimpressed that I was not able to track it as stated and indeed I had to make two telephone calls instead, before feeling comfortable that my mail had arrived on time.
