• White Hart Inn at Newton on Trent is a welcoming and friendly establishment serving good quality food and drink. The proprietor and hosts are extremely attentive and ensure your visit is memorable. My extended family often meet there and have never been disappointed at the service provided. Give The Whote Hart a try, I'm sure you will be more than happy with the great quality service on offer.

• There is no way that this establishment warrants the comments of the 1 Star review shown below. The food is excellent, well prepared and served by friendly welcoming staff. A varied menu which offers great value for money. My extended family often eat here and always leave extremey satisfied. Fantastic portion sizes of varied choice - highly recommend The White Hart at Newton on Trent to all.

• Staying nearby we were recommended to eat here and ate on 2 consecutive nights.The food is all homemade, a large choice and the early evening 2 course offer is excellent value for money. Everything we had was delicious and the portions were large.Am looking forward to a return visit in August. A point to note is that they don't take cards.

• Reckon the previous reviewer must have been in a different pub! The food at the White Hart is ALL home made and to a very high standard. Great main menu and excellent tea-time one too. Fast friendly service, and very reasonable prices - beer is good too! Recommend it any day!
