• Having treated my neice & husband to a meal for her birthday £70 wasted What a nightmare birthday treat could not eat steak tasted awful then had to have fish & chips (no knife & fork to eat it with) which I did not want could have had these at my own fish shop then to top it all up asked for whisky & lemonade what did I get lemonade having to treat them again as this was a total disaster think I should have a refund will not be going back

• Just been to the Anchor for a meal had a fantastic Steak melt in the mouth. Wht a great job has been done of the refurb credit to them. Looking at the previous review someone has a vivid imagination and probably still believes in the tooth fairy.

• A fantastic pub really enjoyed the wife swapping event and can't wait for the next . Food fantastic and room service excellent all optional extras catered for .
