• I bought a car off auto city Scotland for my son who has just passed his test so wanted something that was safe as well as good value. We ended up buying an excellent golf that was great condition and even had brand new tires I can highly recommend this company

• This is the third car we have bought from Auto city We are very happy with the car we purchased have had no problems. We found the latest car was in very good condition and even had a full tank of petrol. The guys at Auto where very friendly and efficient

• after reading the odd negative review I felt I had to post my own review, to be honest I got a cracking motor from autocity, it was exactly as described, so far I have had no trouble with the car so all in I am a very happy customer and would happily buy another car from autocity.

• To your response I did contact you again I even waited a week for you to sort it out.you rang me back several times and told me that you had sorted the hpi check out and now its clear you promised so when I wasted more money doing a full proper check my self it still had a flag on it so that's when I asked you for my money back that I had wasted traveling 300 miles to see the car and hpi check you also said on the first phone call you wouldn't wast my time traveling that far and also said you would give me my money back for the traveling expenses if I wasn't happy with the car I did ask for it back and gave you every opportunity to do the right thing but you choose to ignore it.so don't try and make out you resolve issues because you don't and that's why I wrote the first review .I'm still waiting for my money back.

• Bought a Seat Alhambra in Jan 2013-car didn't have the service history that was advertised(last stamp in book was from 5 years ago)and even tho car was supposed to have been MOT'd there were some issues like parking light bulb blown, tyres were soft, ABS sensor light on dash, cabin being filled with fumes etc. I bought the car anyway since I'd travelled a long distance to look at it and it was a decent car. On the journey home the front brakes squealed, upon inspection I was horrified to discover that the inside 2 front brake pads were worn to nothing, while the outside 2 had been replaced. I never saw such poor workmanship in 25 years looking at cars, specially since Autocity told me that the car had just got a full service and everything had been checked. So I've had to fit 2 new discs and 4 new pads. E-mailed Autocity but got no response, read into this what you will.

• Rang to enquire about a car and got the impression I was inconveniencing them. Went and had a look anyway and from what I could see the adverts and website flatter the cars enormously. The car I was interested in had been painted.

• Great place. top class cars at prices that are hard to beat. i got a good trade in on my mondeo which needed a bit work done to it, and got a honda accord for one of the best prices in britain. full years mot, 6 months tax, warrenty

• very very unhappy spoke to garage owner befor traveling 300 miles and was told the car was 100%genuine and hpi clear got to garage car was ok few more marks then said but ok also water pump showing signs of leaking i could of lived with but when i wanted to look at the paper work thats when the problems started they had not got them on site no v5 no mot no service history and when we checked it on hpi it had a finance flag on it but they said it was all ok buy and take the car and we will send you the paper work by post.at this point i walked also asked for my money back for the wasted journey £205 in all they will not pay it back.all in all a typical back steet used car garage main dealers again from now on also the car i was going to buy had a milage descrepancy on hpi check its still up for sale any unexpecting car buyer that is looking for new car walk away from this place.also do a proper hpi check on any car you buy not a cheap one like these guys the cheap ones do not tell you every thing.bewarned.
