• I would never recommend this firm. On a straightforward sale and purchase they mislaid documents, asked for the same things twice from other parties, and gave me poor advice, all of which resulted in additional costs to me. The Estate Agent who had recommended them had to intervene to get things back on track, but even then they made further basic mistakes. They were completely unaware of the issues around ground rents despite all the publicity and failed to spot obvious problem clauses in the conveyance. When I complained they simply denied the facts even though I had dated letters and evidence, and suggested that I had expected too much from them and refused to offer me any compensation. There are plenty of other firms in Bristol who can do the job properly. Avoid Barcan Kirby.

• This company should be avoided due to the fact they are useless and can not do the basics and fundamental parts of a law case especially their medical negligence team who are absolutely clueless......Go elsewhere if you need a successful outcome to your case.....They wasted 6 years of my life and any hope of getting justice.

• Worst solicitors ever DO NOT use!! Have been with these solicitors for 2 years and spent £10,000 I am still no further in my case!! Had to go elsewhere!! There communication between them is terrible. They are slow and never respond back to you. When you call they will tell you they cannot get through to the person dealing with your case and say they will get them to call you back, you will NEVER receive a call back!! Would not recommend go elsewhere.
