• Hi i came in earlier for a large crispy cod and chips and steak and kidney pudding and the cod was absolutely spot on delisous so was the steak and kidney pudding i have been going there on and off over the years and i cannot fault there food and staff are absolutely brilliant and very polite i would recommend battersbys to anyone that wants good fish and chips one of the best in town.

• I have never had worse chips!!! Hard and stale with so many black bits and peel still on them. Yuk yuk yuk!! They only have a star rating because the site won't let you not!!

• After having fish and chips from your shop on satuarday I can honestly say they were the worst I have had for a very long time.No I wont be returning to battersbys.
