• TERRIBLE...0 STAR RATED. I was not happy when using Beacon Taxis, I was quoted one price (28 each way)on the phone only to be told it was more by the driver(31 each way), as it was a return trip I paid most up front(42) as a deposit and was refused a receipt, we were told to call the driver when we were outside, we called the driver when we were ready, no answer so I left a message, he turned up 20 mins later, he said very angrily...I told you to call me when you were on car park! my hubby said we had....and left a message! I don't bother with messages he said. when we arrived home after a horrible journey, erratic and jerkyand feeling sick! he told us we owed 31, we told him we paid majority of the amount and only owed 20 he said he hadn't had the amount we had given the other driver and said we should pay full again!!!! we paid what we owed! we were not impressed with the service or attitude. we will not be using them again!!! I have given one star but REALLY RATE 0 STAR but the review wouldn't allow me to!

• Horrible phone operators, they were extremely racist and abusive to me over the phone and the manager was the exact same. When I eventually got a taxi, the driver was offensive and I'm sure I could smell alcohol on him so that may answer the reason to why he was verbally abusive to me and was going way over the speed limit. I felt threatened for my life and I hope this company gets shut down. AVOID!!!
