"Matt Henman (Chef and General Manager) and his new team would like to invite you to the newly refurbished Bell Inn. After a brief spell of being closed and not serving food we are now back serving Fresh food and Well-kept Real Ales with friendly yet professional service to match. The Bar and Restaurant has had a much needed face lift with comfortable, new furniture. "

• The Bell at beachampton is a lovely pub with great food. I have dine here with family and friend many a times and the food has been out of this world . my kids loved the double dipped chips and the chicken in a cream sauce is to die for and so it the mushroom in a chease sauce. the staff are always friendly and helpfull and they cater for pickie eater

• Overpriced & overrated. Menu is misleading as not locally sourced & freshly cooked but seems to be brought in from a supplier & reheated. Marketed like a Gastropub, it is nothing like one in terms of quality & service. Bland food reheated in a microwave does not constitute ‘freshly cooked’ food in my books. ‘Seasonal vegetables’ did not even materialise. Avoid the almond tart as these are not cooked/heated appropriately. The filo-pastry base comes almost raw & is like eating tracing paper. The exposed brickwork & bar are delightful but much of the décor is poor eg. tables having old, stripped, plywood tops stuck onto old pub table bases. The toilets are tatty with messy old paintwork that has been part-stripped & left. The locks do not work properly which created a very embarrassing situation between two customers. The staff though friendly seem under the impression they are barmaids & the service at the restaurant tables was poor & pretty much non-existent. Disappointing.
