• Appalling service! We went on a Sunday. No other customers eating whilst we ordered. The menu seemed good. Their sunday dinner a bargain £5! We chose other meals after enquiring if our baby could have vegetables with the meal instead of chips. They agreed. We also opted out of peas on two meals due to them not being liked and myself hating waste. The waitress took the order and took it to the kitchen. The meals were brought out and one was incorrect. That was when the abuse started. The female owner came out ranting and shouting. Calling us names. Being rude and abusive. Now, if she had been busy, i could have sympathised but she wasnt. At all. This abuse then carried on from her husband when i refused my meal as it wasnt as stated. All in all it was the most horrendous experience of my life! They had me in tears as they were so venomous. Even then they continued. I work in catering. In a well established restaurant that looks after its customers and prides itself on top service. We eat out quite regularly and have never encountered such a hostile environment just because of a 'no peas' request! I also noted her hair down and not netted. Dirty walking boots and scruffy dirty clothes! Not really expected attire for cooking your food :( Unfortunately they are not brewery owned :( so enter at your own risk!!
