• I liked it. Surprised that no one posted the origin of the name. The owner had a farm but decided to quit and run a tearoom. Other farmers mocked him and said that is a job for a Jessie (an effeminate man) To spite them he called it "Big Jessie's"

• Was absolutely impressed by the food, service and ambiance of "Big Jessie's Cafe." Presentation and cleaniness plays a big priority of the owners. Keep going doing what you do. Two former scottish residents one from York, U.K. and one from Oviedo, Florida.

• I phoned Big Jessie's this afternoon to enquire what time they were open 'til tonight. Was told by the woman who answered the phone that they shut at 6pm so to be there at 5pm. I arrived at 5pm along with family who had travelled 20 miles, to find the place in darkness and with a closed sign on the door. An absolutely shocking way to run a business, I have no doubt they be out of business if there was a similar eating place nearby. Would have rated at 0 out of 5 if I could. AVOID.

• I visit Jessie's quite often. It has very reasonable prices, a good range of meals but most of all an excellent atmosphere. I would definitely recommend visiting Big Jessie's.
