• So so so Bad! If its the sunny bank holiday and you ran a pub, would u make sure you bought in white wine, cider, ice machine working and enough staff working (sunniest day of the year)?? Well not if you run the Black Horse!! All above ran out! Food is microwaved slop, staff miserable, This pub could be such a money spinner, as well as a fab family pub. Suggestions Sack the 'chef' stop buying in food. Audit your sales, buy in what locals like to drink! Look at your clientele , it's affluent around Rainhill and there is no-where to go with children . There is your USP. There is lots of land around there, resubmit for planning for play area, build some BBQ's(loads of room) , hire them out to families while they drink your beer! Aussie style Outside tables are collapsing and covered in bird excretion, invest in new stuff Get the staff to smile Music nights not Bingo! I won't even charge consultancy fee if you just sort out the mess that has become the Black Horse , what a shame
