• Had a very disappointing night at the Blacksmiths last night mainly because of the staff who all seemed to have fallen out with each other and were squabbling in front of customers at the bar and in the restaurant. My 12 year old son asked why they were all so miserable! My husband had the lamb which was very good and the kids had the curry which was ok. I had the red snapper which I had to send back as it was like a lump of rubber the size of a tennis ball. Although they changed my meal and gave me a complimentary glass of wine there was no apology and I definetely felt like a nuisiance - I ended up eating my meal on my own as the rest of the family had finished.We wont be going again.
