• My Wife and I went to the Blue Bell Last night 09/02/2013. When we entered we were greeted by the Landlord and made to feel welcome. We wre shown to our reserve table and ordered drinks. We then ordered our meals which came in good time we had the Fish cakes and they were delicious. My wife then had chicken breast and I had Beef and ale pie accompanied be freshly cooked veg and chunky chips. All was piping hot and very tasty indeed. We were attended to at the table by a very polite and courtious youn man who made sure our requirements were seen to. All in all we had a very pleasent time there. The food was of a very high standard well presented and reasonably priced. It comes highly recommended by us and will be surely going again soon. Well done.

• I go here whenever I can. I must have been 50 times and the food is always excellent. It's my favourite pub and even though we've moved house further away, we still enjoy going back for the meals.

• I have been to the Bluebell about 15 times and the food is always lovely. The Sunday lunch and the steak pie is especially nice and always comes red hot with a separate serving of vegetables and potatoes of your choice. The treacle sponge is fab! The staff aways greet you with a smile and are friendly, courteous and willing to please. The only thing I would change is the decor and seating could do with a makeover but then again its true of a typical English pub!

• amazing Sunday lunch, price is reasonable for the quality of food and the staff are always very friendly. their menu is limited but they only have a small kitchen. however the food is brilliant!

• Far too expensive. Charged me 10p more for a pint of coke in the lounge than in the bar. Staff not very friendly.
