• very poor visited twice first meal lasange frozen had to reheat tried again crab salad salad very poor lettuce cucumber and peppers very bland no onions coleslaw very dissapointed again wont go back

• Visited with a party of 10 people to celebrate my son-in-laws birthay. All the staff were very friendly & accommodating. The home cooked food was delicious & very reasonably priced with a very good menu selection as well as a specials board.I would definately recommend a visit.

• AWent for tea with a friend on a Tuesday night and was greeted by a friendly barman. The pub was quite busy for a Tuesday then I realised why. One of the best pints I've had in along while and proper home cooked food. Had the pie special, steak and mushroom, were the serve could have fed the two of us.quality filling and a lovely pastry,couldn't have asked for more.homemade chips and the gravy was the cherry on the cake.my mate had a burger and he said it was 'spot on'. Was that impressed I brought the family for the Sunday roast and it got even better. Ham was out of this world as was the lamb which proved a hit with my 93yr old granny who ate enough for a week.oh did I mention the gravy!! Massive plus of my holiday.thanks for some great memories
