• After hearing rave reviews about this place I thought i'd give it a go, and to be honest it didn't disappoint! The food was great, service was attentive and the ambience was pleasant too. I had a lamb dinner as did my partner, and the meat was flavoursome and a decent portion size, and the gravy could well have been the highlight. Both our dinners came with mash, swede, a homemade Yorkshire and roasties as well as fresh vegetables. Overall a good Sunday dinner and we will be coming back! Only thing stopping me giving it a 5 star rating is the fact we only had Sunday dinners and we didn't choose to go a la carte.
