• My one experience with this post office has not been a good one. Whilst on holiday I used this P.O. to post a birthday card to my mother. As it was a largish card I wanted to make sure it had the correct amount of postage on it, and was posting it on the Friday to make sure it arrived by her birthday the following Monday. The cashier weighed the card and fitted it through the slot in her size guage, told me it would be 60p, stuck a stamp on, took my money and handed it back to me. I then posted it in the internal post box. My mother had not received the card on the Monday, nor for several days after. Eventually, on Thursday she received a card from the post office informing her there was a package to collect. This package turned out to be my card, on which it was stated that insufficient postage had been paid, and she had to pay £1.09 to cover this and the handling cost. She advised the cashier of the above, but was told I could not have posted it in a post office as it did not have a post office stamp on it!!!

• i note you have changed you method of delivering letters to the elmer area,at present i am waiting for mail sent by my bank,i phoned your branch in bognor just the other week and al was ok .but know no post no phone number number disconnected and you are now awaiting connection for another phone i dont think so ,
