• Wonderful store with just about everything you could possibly want. Bought a canteen of Arthur Price cutlery at an incredibly low price. The cafe and restaurant are excellent value and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

• Avoid this store at all costs! Visited 19th July 2013 and noted shoes at discount price were actually 'faulty'. The shoe on display was different to that in the box which had a broken clasp. When I asked the young female assistant why these were for sale she said 'I could take them to be repaired' after I'd bought them. This is contrary to the sale of goods act (consumer protection act) so I notified a young male sales advisor about the faulty shoes. He offered no advice and walked away smirking. . I then contacted the dept. manageress who said 'boundary mills do not sell faulty goods' and she'd take a look at the faults and remove the shoes from the shelve. . The 2 young sales assistants could not care less and obviously this store do not train their staff in customer care and correct sales procedures. . the boundary mill store is not a true 'mill' shop with many of the products seemingly being either end of line or excess stock - bought in and and sold under a 'branded' name. Prices are excessive for a supposed mill store with most products imported from china or other asian bowl countries and resold at grossly inflated prices. . The ground floor part of the store is 'overcramped' with clothes/shoes/goods racks giving the feeling of being trapped with the customer wanting to escape to the 1st floor only to be greeted with more overpriced tat along with a cafeteria where you can see small current buns being sold for over £1.30 . Overall, you'd think a mill shop would sell goods at prices relative to the earnings of the local economy yet this store is clearly aimed at a more prestigious clientelle who wouldn't know a cotton mill from a windmill. . Selection/range of goods: large but market niche/branded Car parking: ample Customer service: Poor . Overall rating for affordability for a family based on an average £24k income: 4/10
